BE ENCOURAGED

The root of the word in encourage comes from the word COURAGE. It means to be-brave, be-fearless, be-determined and be- confident.

To be EN-COURAGED means to be filled with HOPE, STRENGTH, CONFIDENCE, AND RENEWED COURAGE.

To be DIS-COURAGED Means to be robbed of courage. To be-fearful, be-hopeless, be-helpless and be-reckless.

²¹ The Benjamites came out of Gibeah and cut down twenty-two thousand Israelites on the battlefield that day. ²² But the Israelites encouraged one another and again took up their positions where they had stationed themselves the first day.

 

HOW DO WE ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER TO BE BRAVE - FEARLESS - DETERMINED AND COURAGEOUS?

 

1. HAVE FAITH IN GOD AND HIS WORD

Numbers 23:19 (NASB)

"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
